I added a feature request for a button that allows to get the latest version of module’s python code from the source repository. A "Pull from repo" for DevMode · Issue #9160 · Slicer/Slicer · GitHub
The primary driver is to give users a mean to quickly update broken python modules in the preview builds without having to download another Slicer preview build.
