I have a 3D dental model which I can rotate in infinite directions and angles. But, I want to be able to set a view where I will be looking directly at the facial surface of each tooth
What I’ve tried to do is:
-
Draw a cuve (polynomial worked well to draw a 2D curve on the occlusal plane)
-
Put a plane vertically to intersect that curve at the center of each tooth, hopefully close to 90 degrees
-
Rotate the screen or model until the plane becomes a line so that I’m sure I’m looking directly perpendicular on the tooth
what I am looking for is a simple way to set the view perpendicular on each tooth to evaluate its axis on two models superimposed
And I want to follow this method showed here but in 3D Slicer
Thank you in advance
