server is down!

has been down again for 5+ hours…

Would it be difficult to move hosting of to a more reliable provider?

The download link at the main page of 3D slicer seems not work. I tried it on different computers and internet environment. Where and how could I download it?

Operating system: Linux

Thanks for reporting this - it’s been reported to the sysadmins.

The download page is available now.

Yes, it works. Thanks!

I have the same problem now.

Until the download page becomes available again, you can use the direct download links on (in the red “Notice” box).

Hi everybody. The download site seems to be down again. I hope you can fix it soon, since I would like to try your software.

I tried to get the nightly version for linux, but I don’t see any download boxes, as in the Mac version…

Anyway, this is the error I get:

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) Server at Port 80

Thanks

Thanks for reporting. Until the issue is resolved, you can use these direct download links:

Download stable version (Slicer-4.8.1):

Download latest nightly version (Slicer-4.9.x):

Thanks a lot! That was a fast reply
I hope your software is as good as the forums, hehe
Have a nice day ;^)

Note that since an error preventing the linux build from completing was just fixed, the latest linux installed from is only from Feb 8th.

The site is back again. I haven’t heard why it was down or plans to make it more stable.

The download page is down again since Sunday morning.

Still down… Can anybody please see if it can be restored? Are there ways to improve its stability? It’s embarrassing that a simple semi-static page is so often inaccessible.
