seems like the extensions search cannot handle queries unless they match 100% with the name of the etension

That particular model always give me the trouble 
I agree with that having a more flexible search. For example if we include the s for Markups, this is what’s returned.
But there is also SurfaceMarkup and SlicerMarkupConstraints
