How to Create and Export En Face Images in 3D Slicer?

Hi everyone,

I’m working with volumetric OCT data in 3D Slicer and would like to generate en face images.

Could someone please guide me on:

  1. How to create en face views from a 3D volume?
  2. How to extract or export these en face slices as 2D images (e.g., PNG)?

Any advice or recommended extensions/modules would be greatly appreciated.

There is more than one way. Look at the top for this button.

Click on it and then the upside down triangle next to it.
Then select intersection. Now in the red, green, .. views you can move the lines and perform a reformat to en face. Then you can export to png. Another way is to reformat the whole volume.
