Registration is now open for the IST School - Valparaíso 2027, a five-day hands-on tractography workshop run by the International Society for Tractography. Last year’s School filled quickly, so we encourage early registration.

Experts lead attendees through the complete tractography workflow: preprocessing and quality control of dMRI, advanced modelling (microstructure, NODDI, DKI, fixel-based analysis), deterministic and probabilistic tractography, bundle segmentation, tractometry and structural connectomics. The format is bootcamp-style, pairing lectures with guided hands-on sessions and project consultation, and it suits users of MRtrix3, FSL, FreeSurfer, ANTs, Scilpy, DIPY and other major packages.
The School is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and clinical scientists who are new to the practical side of dMRI, and for researchers in neuroscience, psychology, radiology and related fields who want applied tractography skills.

New this year: the IST School is partnering with the Latin American School in Computational Neuroscience (LACONEU, laconeu.cl). IST School registrants have the chance to be selected to attend LACONEU as well.
