Meeting Notes

We welcomed first-time attendee Yao Fu

Slicer Presentation at Children’s National Hospital

  • @pieper will give a presentation on Slicer updates at Children’s National Hospital.

    • Draft slides available here.

  • Slicer-based projects at Children’s National include:

    • A kidney surgery robot collaboration with Johns Hopkins University.
    • An orthopedic robotics project integrating 3D C-Arm imaging (NView) with Slicer via DICOM.

Dependency Updates

  • ITK updated from 5.4.0 to 5.4.3

  • VTK Update (9.2 → 9.4)

  • Python Version Upgrade

    • Work continues toward updating from Python 3.9 to 3.12.

  • CMake Minimum Requirement

    • Preparing to increase the minimum required CMake version from 3.16 to 3.22.
