I use markups quite often to illustrate CT findings. It would be very helpful if the text within markups could be easily repositioned. At present, it can be difficult to read when the text overlaps with anatomical structures or other annotations.
Is there currently an easy way to move the text within a markup?
IN ADDITNO I’m finding it difficult to submit this feedback—the forUm keeps displaying a message saying that my response is unclear or doesn’t make sense.
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll be working on improvements to Slicer and this should definitely be on the list. Others should vole this up if they agree.
Regarding the forum issues that doesn’t sound familiar. We are using a hosted Discourse so maybe there’s some feature active that made it hard to comment?
You can try installing the ExtraMarkups extension which contains a “Label” type where you could use that markup to point to other Line node markups. You could turn off the label visibility of the line markup and only have it on the “Label” type that the extension provides. See the following for more details:
