Big image viewer extension not working on 5.4.0

On linux I am getting an error regarding open-slide python package.

It looks like it is trying to build the package.

I’ve had trouble installing openslide before. In this case it looks like their configuration is not correct because the path to the compiler is wrong. Better for this to be fixed upstream.

I’ll investigate this and report back soon.
