In the 5.9.0-2025-09-20 issue, I am unable to set favourite modules in the menu.
This issue is still in the 5.9.0-2025-09-26
The “Favorites” functionality defines module shortcuts in the toolbar area. It appears in your screenshot that the “Favorite Modules” toolbar is not visible which is why changes to the modules in settings is not resulting in a visible change. Go to View→Toolbars to turn on the Favorites module or right-click in the open toolbar area to get the right-click context menu for turning on/off the visibility of various toolbars.
