Images on Slicer wiki are not available anymore

At many places we link to images on the Slicer wiki with URLs like this:

https://www.slicer.org/w/images/b/b1/SliceTracker_Logo_1.1_128x128.png

However, recently these return “Error 404 - page not found”.

The images can be now achieved at URLs like this:

https://www.slicer.org/w/img_auth.php/b/b1/SliceTracker_Logo_1.1_128x128.png

Is there a reason why images has to be replaced by img_auth.php? Would it be possible to fix the previously working URLs?
