Operating system: Win 10
Slicer version: 4.8.0
Expected behavior: Loaded model would be within or at least close to purple frame in 3d view
Actual behavior: The model is very distant from the purple frame and impossible to navigate and visualize.
Try the ‘Center the View’ button on the blue bar

Thanks for the tip. However, that made the box taller but the model is
still in the same location. Looks like this.

“Center view” will center everything that is currently visible. You have two distant objects shown. If you want to center the view around only one of them:
- go to Data module
- hide the other object
- click “Center view”.
