Mitral valve segmentation : echo or CT-scan?

Hello everyone, i am starting to use SlicerHeart from 3D Slicer. I want to segment the open and closed mitral valve (annulus, mitral leaflet, cordae and papillary muscle). I taught the best was from 3D echo images, but i see that it is not easy, the quality is not the best, i can’t always clearly identify all the elements of the mitral valve. So i wonder if the mitral valve segmentation would be better from ct scan. What do you think? Anyone that has an expertise on mitral valve segmentation?

Valves on CT (in patients) are often thin and are segmented with holes. Normal or thickened valves are easier.
