This evening, regular preview and stable builds of Slicer and associated extensions will be disabled in favor of a new stable release.

Updates:

  • All Slicer 5.2 packages along with extensions have been generated :white_check_mark:
  • Regular preview and stable builds have been resumed :white_check_mark:

Notes

  • Packages are being signed and will soon be available for download :hourglass:
  • Display of None on the https://download.slicer.org is a known issue [1]
  • Issue related to display of macOS download statistics is also a known issue [2]

Fixes to be integrated are listed in the Slicer 5.2.1 milestone.

  • Thanks @lassoan for identifying and fixing the regression :pray:
  • To avoid similar regressions, issue #6696 has been created.

  • We are in the process of finalizing the announcements. :rocket:
  • New feature for notifying users when a new Stable release is available is working as expected, see details below.
