Release of Slicer 5.8 in progress

To follow-up on out last topic titled Temporary disabling of Stable extension builds in preparation for Slicer 5.8 Release & Visual Studio update, this evening, regular preview and stable builds of Slicer and associated extensions will remain disabled in favor of the new 5.8 stable release.

Updates:

  • Slicer 5.8 packages are being generated (see here) :hourglass_flowing_sand:
  • Regular Preview and Stable builds have NOT been resumed

    If you identify any issues related to packaging and/or signing of the packages, let us know :pray:

  • Regular builds are resumed and expected to be published tomorrow

Next :rocket:

  • Finalize and publish release announcements
  • Update external websites.
  • Update ExtensionStats module.
  • Review remaining extensions build failures and submit issue reports and or pull requests. See CDash report.
  • Update Signing-Application-Packages to account for notarization workflow updates
