Hello, I just noticed that SlicerJupyter was not available as an extension for both the latest stable version and the latest unstable version. What are the plans moving forward? Will SlicerJupyter work? SlicerJupyter is mission critical for my work. Thanks, Juergen

Please see the following recent response on this topic: [image] SlicerJupyter Not Found in Slicer 5.7 and 5.8 Support Thanks for the report pray Looking at CDash associated with both the Stable (see here ) and the Preview build (see here ), the extension is packaged and av…

Ok, thanks for the quick response. I’ve been using 5.7.0-2024-02-08 with SlicerJupyter without a problem though, but I’m not sure about newer versions. For sure it didn’t work with the latest 5.9.

Is there still hope and desire to bring SlicerJupyter back into operation or has this extension been abandoned?

No, it’s not abandoned, but we don’t hear a lot from users and there are many other priorities to juggle with. I’ll have a look if it’s easy to update to recent package versions that are compatible with Slicer. What operating system do you use?

Thanks, Andras, that’s encouraging. I understand that there are many other priorities. Unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to fix this, but I completely rely on SlicerJupyter because I scripted my entire workflow with it as a way to codify and document my process for repeatability. I would like t…

Dear Andras, please let me chime in - actually, our working group, too, relies heavily (if not entirely) on SlicerJupyter regarding development of an electrophysiological, real-time fully MR-guided interventional procedure with 3DSlicer for visualization. This project runs together with ETH Zurich …

Same here, we use SlicerJupyter a lot to study microwave ablation. It would be a huge help if the extension was available in the latest realease

Hi, just wanted to let you know that we used SlicerJupiter a lot for analysis of clinical CT data as well as for a prototyping and debugging tool for surgery planning. For someone with a Data Analysis background I struggle to imagine developing something more complex without it. Having problems with…

For those watching this thread, we just merged a set of fixes/upgrades to SlicerJupyter that at least worked for me on linux. It looked like there was a possibly independent set of issues on windows so IDK about that, but at least on linux it should work now!

Thanks for working on a fix for the Linux version. Unfortunately, I’m on Windows and I don’t know how to fix it. I hope somebody can help this along. I had to set up a new computer and just copied the old Slicer directory and hope this old version still works. Otherwise I would be locked out of my S…
